About Seminar Snapshots
A Seminar Snapshot captures the key learning points of a seminar presentation at The Poynter Institute or at another training event. A snapshot features edited video highlights and other materials offered during a seminar presentation.
As a backpack journalist you are tasked to produce a video story from A to Z all by yourself. You have to take on several roles: reporter, camera operator, audio engineer and editor. In the end, your story has to be professional and polished.
This presentation will help you master and manage all of these roles. You'll learn how to tackle the technical details and set up stand-ups, create a compelling story and continue to produce great journalism.
This replay is from The Poynter Institute and the National Press Photographers Foundation's day-long event, Video Storytelling with the Pros, that was held on Oct. 15, 2011. It is one of four Seminar Snapshots available from the event. If you'd like to buy all four Seminar Snapshots, check out our Training Package.

She left her job in local television news in 2003 and moved to Germany to work for the American Forces Network Europe.
